Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as decorating the sanctuary for Christmas to being a part of an off-site mission team.

Ministry Outreach

Jefferson Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around our community and around the world. We are active in sending local missionaries to serve nearby individuals who are in need, and also to other areas of need farther away. We support these missionaries with our money, with our time, and with our prayers.

Every congregation requires healthy administration teams. And every congregation has individuals who have gifts of administration. We welcome new ideas and new hands as part of our work teams.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We use media in worship and for following up with visitors. However, we are always looking for new ways to reach those who are not with us on Sunday mornings. We are also working to develop and maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.

Marriage Counseling

Marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage. Pastor Cyndi can offer short-term counseling. Her role is listening, understanding, helping, and encouraging struggling couples. She has over 15 years of experience and is skilled at keeping confidences. Marriage counseling through the church is different from elsewhere because the spiritual component of marriage is acknowledged and addressed.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer. In addition, we believe that we are called to care for each other as part of the answer to our own prayers. Each Sunday, during the morning service, we offer prayers for members and friends of the congregation. Throughout the week, we continue our prayers for these people, our pastor, and any special requests.
